Here are some tips on how you can prepare for a visit:
- Location and time: Plan your route in advance and buffer time for any transport delays. Try to arrive at the visit location 15 minutes earlier.
- Dress code: Dress in decent and comfortable clothing (do not wear sleeveless tops and shorts). You are encouraged to wear the Homage T-Shirt, if available.
- Visit Requirement: Review the Care Recipient profile and services requested. This will help you understand their needs and provide appropriate support.
- Care Assessment:
- Read this if it's your first time giving care to a CR to fully understand the CR’s medical history and case background.
- Past Visit Summaries:
- Review reports submitted by other Care Pros so that you are up-to-date with the Care Recipient's condition.
- The Care Assessment & Past Visit Summaries can be accessed under "Visits" tab under the "Upcoming" header
- Chat function with Care Owner / Care Recipient: Use the Chat function to chat with CO & CRs regarding visits before, during, or after your assigned visit
- Mobile Usage: Avoid using your mobile phone during the visit so you can provide undivided care and attention to the CR.
